SACRED BOUQUET is a devotion to the nurturing high desert plants and land where we live, the land of the Pueblo peoples, and those dear family and friends who carry us through intense, challenging, and reflective times. It began with a homemade ceremony that was a contemporary interpretation of a ritual on the Jewish holiday of Sukkot - a plant and people gathering, and movement meditation - and transformed into a film and sound bath, a 4-channel video installation generously commissioned by Bridge Projects in Los Angeles for the We are all guests here. exhibition.
