This painting was inspired by cross-sections of coral, found washed up on a beach in Hawaii, that I reimagined through abstract painting. I reshaped and layered the natural patterns, creating flowing textures and harmonious colors that suggest underwater rhythms. The composition invites a dreamlike exploration of coral’s form beyond the familiar.
