Early (circa 1971) Dan Anderson small pitcher or creamer vessel, made during his early tenure as a teacher at SIU Edwardsville. Given to student Joyce Middleton. This was used for general use, including paintbrush storage, for nearly 50 years.
This work was not assumed to be by Dan Anderson when evaluated, but the artist self-identified it as his early work from the period.
