This Ron Meyers chess set is a significant culmination of his sculptural work. Completed when the artist was 89-90, the set features 32 original sculptural ceramic pieces (stonware black, earthenware white). The pieces average between 4.5" and 7" high. The board, by Georgia artist George Peterson, was custom-made for the set and includes storage capabilities.
