This abstract diptych was a major departure from the portraits I typically paint. I was inspired by the beautiful prefelt I created at a fiber shop I visited during a road trip. I wanted to highlight the beauty of the textural fibers and the autumnal colors. This pair speaks in different ways depending upon how you choose to hang them.
