Mountains and hills are recurring forms for me, the way they loom in the distance is a constant reminder of the power of accumulation and time. In these paintings and in several of my ongoing works, I use the forms to meditate on what is being collected, discarded, or mounting over time as a result of human behaviors. “Indecision” also comes out of a love for the infinite potential of wandering and walking, and I began to attempt to visualize what a mountain of thousands of trails might look like, and where it might all be leading.
