Art in the park

This collection was inspired by the beautiful Glacier National Park in British Columbia, Canada.  I was blessed to be one of 12 Artists chosen to be part of this residency hosted by Parks Canada and Revelstoke Visual Art Centre.  We spent a week hiking and painting surrounded by the Selkirk Mountains.   These painting are a reflection of what I experienced as part of this  residency.

From the high altitude at Abbotts ridge,  the views of Mount Sir Donald and the spectacular Great Glacier to the Glistening Bear creek waterfalls that support the  forest floors of the Bostock trail and all the tiny flora, mushrooms and wildflowers.

I hope you enjoy and are inspired to explore  nature and our beautiful Canadian parks.

In creative spirit,
Michelle
