Statement
Michael Sean Kirby works with a variety of materials: bronze, stone, fiber, concrete and clay. As both a sculptor and teacher, part of his practice is to question the potential of a line moving through space and creating a form. What can it do? His current work introduces color and surface into a playful yet methodical working process.
