Raised by Wolves is dominated by fleshy pinks and reds. This work from the Spring of 2023, began with drawings taken from figure and life studies. As the painting progressed, the bodies alternately became more articulated and obscured. The result is an abstraction of a writhing, tangle of brushstrokes full of life and energy while suggesting bodies intertwined.
