Paintings of restoration-worthy and other significant sites by local artists will be sold at auction at a gala fund-raising event by the Belleville Historical Society at the Museum of Midcentury Modern Architecture in Belleville, IL, September 23, 2023; 5:30-9pm. The museum is located in an elegant example of residential design by Charles King, noted Belleville architect and practitioner of the MCM style. The event is ticketed but art buyers the cost will be absorbed by their contribution and will include a one-year BHS membership. For more information visit BHS website.
