This painting is inspired by the lyrics of the famous Beatles song "She’s Leaving Home" that was based on news report about a teenage runaway. When the girl returned home safely and later found out that the tune was about her, she couldn’t believe how accurately the song was able to get inside her head and heart. The artist-made distressed float frame is painted Ultra-Pure White which subtly reflects the Hot Gossip painted edge of the exposed canvas.
