The arrangement of shapes and colors in my paintings are meant to suggest form and space. Patterns of light and shade reveal a wide range of possibilities to me whether I am painting at my easel in the studio or painting outdoors. Sources for my images include digitally altered stock photos and personal iPhone snapshots as well as plein air sketches.
