The Aerotrain design was innovative but underpowered never achieving its promised speed of 100 mph. Its light weight all aluminum cars were designed to save fuel, but passengers found the ride uncomfortable. Ultimately it was only used for a short time as a commuter train. The painting is inspired by a 1964 Rick Burn photo. Price includes vintage frame.
