Born in Brooklyn, New York, a member of the first graduating class New York City's High School of Music and Arts and a graduate of The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art. Began her career as an advertising artist in Manhattan. An accomplished artist in a variety of media, including painting, drawing, mixed media, printmaking, sculpture and ceramics. A member of Association of Clay and Glass Artists of California. Her work had numerous gallery showings, and is held in private collections. Supporter and and member of the SF MOMA, SF Fine Arts Museum, SF Contemporary Jewish Museum, Museum of Craft and Design, and the Smithsonian National Museum of American Indian.
