Stunning, mid century oil on canvas, cubist still life of apples and wine by artist Earl Pierce. Signed lower right in paint. Earl Pierce was a student of Hans Hoffman in Provincetown, Mass. where his work is the permanent collection at CCMA. He was married to Myrna Harrison, a painter herself and they moved to the SF Bay Area where this painting was acquired. Canvas measures 22" x 30" and is frame in a wood period frame that measures 23 1/2"x31 1/2". less
