This Piece is truly exquisite - and one of my masterpieces. I found this business building in a busy old area of Porto on Rua Formosa. I could only fit 2 of the 3 floors onto the wood piece but the details on these floors are amazing - so many beautiful tiles. One old tile near the ground is marked Fca DO Carvalhinho, Porto, 1917 (see photo) .
The shop still sells teas, coffees, liquor - and it looks like anything else you can put into a bottle.
The driftwood comes from Greece and was part of a wide but longer plank. There is a nice knot hole that I incorporated into the upper middle window. It's a very captivating piece of art and the details will keep you engaged and absorbed for quite the time. Enjoy!
