In all my years of painting architecture, Green has to be one of the rarest colors. I was drawn to this house because of that - it had a very nice mix of green tones - and then I found the perfect piece of driftwood for the match. The upper floor has the Gallarija which is always nice for creating a three dimensional look.
This piece of up-cycled wood came from Crete, Greece - and is the last of 3 similar pieces used in my Portugal collection. We found it on the beach as a very long green board - it almost looked like a top-rail board from a fairly large wooden boat. Being unusable like that, we cut and bonded to make 3 separate - double wide pieces. This is the last of 3 pieces. If you like green or have a decor that matches this is great piece for you!
