On a visit to Milford on Sea, I walked down to the beach after a very wet and stormy day. The surf was still very rough with some breakers coming over the sea wall. Not an evening to put up my easel, so I took some photos and video footage instead before heading home. Back in the studio and inspired by the light and movement, I painted this view from a combination of the photos and particularly the video footage.
