This painting is about finding hope in the darkest places. Something struck me about the barn owl bringing life to the darkest places in the middle of the night. The word "light" on the tag can refer to both illumination and levity. This painting was my response after the Paris attacks of 2015 as I thought about how God can bring Hope to even the darkest of situations.
