I'm a recovering "corporate guy" and have been quietly painting for many years. I took classes when I was 5 or 6. I took a drawing class at USC and got very intimidated. Then I graduated and got a great job at Turner Broadcasting and left my love of art for another day.
About twenty years ago I started playing around again. Just needed to have a creative outlet and play with color and texture, and make a mess. As I traveled the world for my job, I would make sure to visit art galleries, exhibits and museums and study the techniques of the Masters.
Two years ago I decided to overcome my insecurity of "not being trained" and declare myself an artist and make things that I enjoyed and were fun for me. I hope you enjoy too!
