Circle mandala. Inner circle painted gold with designs carved out in dark pink, purple, and blue. Small blue diamond at the center, followed by four purple lines around the diamond. Small blue triangles outside of the purple lines, followed by a single dark pink geometric line around the entire inner border. Outer border left unpainted.

The Recycling the Sacred collection is composed of mandalas whose materials were primarily sourced from second hand stores. The artist began collecting variations of wood from second hand stores to later repurpose and give them "a new dignity and life." Many of the patterns used are inspired by ancient native cultures, particularly the basket and pottery designs of the Huhugam. Most of the mandalas take a circle shape, celebrating the Sacred Circle symbol and our place in it.
