Reggie. Full face mask used in performances by Primavera Ballet Folklorico of Phoenix, AZ. It’s forehead is painted with a curving blue design. The design underneath is a curving green design with a red gem in the center underneath that is a purple V design going across from temple to temple with two yellow dots at the ends. Between the brown eyebrows are two blue droplets. The eyes are framed in large circular Green outlines. The cheeks have a circular blue upside-down V with yellow in the center of the circles and yellow gems. The nose is purple, the teeth are outlined in pink, while the chin has two purple circles with yellow inside and silver jams in the center.
It is made of plaster bandage and paper clay, painted with acrylic paints and ribbon, which ties the mask to the performer.
These masks are part of the Performance Collection, which contains pieces available for loan to use in community and artistic performances.
