Noh mask's are typically carved with cypress then painted over, but mahagony was chosen to create a distinct style for the artist.
Carved mahogany with matte finish. Circular eyes and pupils, with pupils carved and punched out. Mouth opened with upturned smile. Top and bottom rows of teeth showing with eight on each row. Lightly discolored wood on the front of the nose. Wood grain dot on the right side of forehead.
