Calaca #104. Full face mask used in performances by Arizona theater and dance companies. It is painted with a red dot on the forehead, red, blue, and pink lines above the eyes, with red eyeshadow and green outline. A blue nose, pink swirls with green dots in the center on the cheeks, and orange and purple swirls on the chin. Teeth are outlined in blue and pink paint.
It is made of plaster bandage and paper clay, painted with acrylic paints and ribbon, which ties the mask to the performer.
These masks are part of the Performance Collection, which contains pieces available for loan to use in community and artistic performances.
