I began this painting months ago and thought it was finished. While working on a series of three paintings, I pulled this one out to work on it more. I'm happy with the results as I wasn't too enthused about where I had left it.

I turned it horizontal when I worked on it since I didn't like the vertical version. It works that way too. But, I really love the new vertical version too. Whoever purchases it can decide which way they prefer to hang it. It has two titles: the vertical version is "The Hiking Chef" and the horizontal version is "Sunrise Over the Forgotten."
