In 2023, I was accepted as an artist to paint Plein Air across Long Beach Island. This is one of the works from that summer. Holgate is the southern most point on Long Beach Island and on a clear day Atlantic City can be seen in the distance. There is a large nature preserve that runs the length of the dunes and point. The parking lot and entrance to the beach sit much higher and provide a unique view to paint.
