When I finish a painting session, many times there is a lot of paint left over. The paint can sometimes be put in the freezer to be used another day but I usually forget it is there and start another pallette. So rather then waste the paint, I have started to create small abstract paintings based on the paint remaining on the pallette. It is a very freeing experience and some of the end results have been well received by the public. This is just one example. Normally, I paint in oil but this particular project was acrylic.
