Oyster Shells have most varied colors than many other types of shells, especially when they start to erode. If the erosion is on the inside of the shell, there can be almost a rainbow of colors. This configuration of shells was not posed and is the result of the ocean depositing these shells along the shoreline. This particular grouping was from Island Beach State Park, NJ. The original 8x10 oil painting on board is $225.
