These young friends were enjoying the first day of Spring Break at the pond’s edge of Freedom Park, in Charlotte, North Carolina. I was thrilled to capture the carefree moment on that perfectly sunny day. This piece was accepted into the highly competitive 2022 ArtFields Competition.
