It started as an ordinary pressback wooden chair found along the side of the road. Someone had discarded it and no longer useful. I took it home and placed it on my back porch. Over the next 6 months, due to high humidity, the chair began to slowly unfold, like an onion. I found what had only been a discarded useless chair, became something beautiful in its new altered state.
