Created around a central distressed metal plate acquired off the coast of Nova Scotia. The remainder of the work is constructed or reappropriated construction cast offs. The hole in the middle of the work (the hole in the square) is a portal to the wall on which the work hangs. A deep red light illuminates the hole enticing the viewer to take a closer look.
