I have been experimenting a lot with making up my own scenery from my imagination and using photographs for only a small bit of reality. I usually have to paint, scrape, paint something different, and then paint over something to find the feeling I am looking for. In my mind it is a field where there were several springs that would flood the lower lying areas after a rain. The flowers were left over from years ago, and an enjoyment for the passerby ... and the viewer of this painting!
