After The Rain

I started from a photograph I took in North Georgia, and began with the under-painting colors. It took on a life that was a little abstract. Then I decided to put in some realistic rocks, water, shade and light, to make it look like morning as the sun is rising and just beginning to highlight those and a beautiful tree. I left the abstract marks, and rubbed some to have a misty look for it.
