This is an oil painting on a 16" x 8" wood panel of the small container next to my kitchen sink in which I place food scraps before taking them out to my compost bin by my garden. This painting includes egg shells, banana peels, and greens. The container is perched on the edge of the sink that holds a pan of food and a large black metal skillet frames the bottom right of the composition. The image is painted on the front of the panel while the sides, 1" deep, are left as natural wood
