Under the synonym "Bamboo Rocks," a multitude of projects are concealed, representing the implementation of an ecologically sustainable way of life. This involves an innovative construction method that enables large-scale structures primarily using bamboo as the material.

The various projects span both artistic and functional domains; that is, they serve as direct living spaces as well as purely artistic expressions, aimed at highlighting the essence of a sustainable lifestyle and fostering ecological awareness. The projects presented here are to be understood as a selection from the overall work within the Central American region.

With the commencement of the construction of the Eco-Lodge Ojo Del Mar in Costa Rica, which began as a lifestyle experiment, a nature-connected mindset has been established that continues to strongly influence the artistic work to this day. A key characteristic of these works is, alongside the unique construction method, the avoidance of any materials that are not of natural origin. As a result, Mark has also made a name for himself as a pioneer in bamboo construction.
