Mixed media on canvas — acrylic, paint markers, graphite, colored pencils, and oil pastels
This one buzzes. Like summer heat and scraped knees and the thrill of being outside way past dinner. The pinks and oranges are loud on purpose—like that little girl who never asked for permission to take up space. I painted this thinking about getting lost in the clover fields, face down in the grass, chasing four-leaf clovers but getting distracted by every single petal. That version of me? She never left. She just needed a way back in.
