"Say That Again" and "But Louder This Time" are a diptych—two pieces that complete the thought together. They were built from that familiar feeling of being told to stay in line, follow the rules, smile more, quiet down. But all I could hear in my head was me saying "SAY THAT AGAIN, BUT LOUDER THIS TIME"—with the kind of sarcastic bite that only comes from knowing better. These works are about what happens when you stop nodding along and start making your own rules instead. They’re bold, layered, and intentionally unruly—oil pastels, graphite, acrylic, paint markers, water, acrylic ink—because that’s how it feels when the truth finally cracks through: messy, wild, and completely your own. This is not a whisper. It’s a full-body no to being small. And a loud, clear yes to your own voice.
