Breakout was painted intuitively based on the concepts of strength, might, and majesty of our powerful oceans. Of course, sea birds are an integral part of that universe. I used bold gesture, vivid color, and transparent layers to suggest depth, movement, and power of the sea and the cavorting of birds eager to score a fish. the beauty and power of the sea.
