Inspired after reading Finding the Mother Tree by Suzanne Simard, this study for a planned larger piece depicts the soil horizons and the network of mycelium (fungi) and root systems below our feet that manage to keep these organisms alive - and the earth as well. Made from wool, silk, viscose and bamboo.
