I wanted to explore the possibilities of making truly sustainable artwork. This piece is made entirely of undyed Shetland wool. Shetland sheep comes in the widest variety of colors of any breed and so I was able to get dramatic value contrasts and warm and cool contrasts without using dyed wool. Wet felted with needle felted embellishments.
