This is made up of six panels of cradled birch. It was not primed. Painting was done directly on the boards and bits of the woodgrain can be seen through the painting adding a flow counter to the flow of the paint. The goal was to make them work both together or separately. The original has been sold but prints of the individual pieces can be ordered. It is possible to rearrange the order of any or all of the panels. Even the orientation can be changed by where you have the hanging wires placed.
Maunder is a mental wandering and these images are a visual expression of my mind as it travels here and there.
