This piece looks like both a face and the torso of a woman's body. It also looks like a face that makes up the contour (abstractly of course) of a woman's body. A face within a body/ A face and a body, separately. Hence the title "Face-N-Body"... I see the neckline and the shoulders on the top, outside of the face. The "eyes' are symbolizing the female breast plates, with the ribs underneath. The nose and mouth symbolize the lower half/part of the torso. With the outside lines symbolizing the curves of a woman's hips etc. All of this was unintentional whilst I was creating this piece.
Like the majority of my work, it is an intuitive process. I love that I can have so much fun during the process and have no idea as to how the piece will turn out. And yet, whenever it is time to name a piece, a title/name pops up in my head while attempting to interpret what I may have involuntarily conveyed.
