MessageMarci Rule is a realist oil painter living in Southern California. Inspired by the beauty that surrounds her, she conveys the details, richness of color and depth of what she sees that many people may overlook. It is Marci's goal to create paintings that allow people to feel drawn into the scene so they can recall their own joyous memories.
While living in Pinehurst, North Carolina in 1987, Marci's observations of the beautiful area fed her desire to paint local scenes. In her surroundings, the serenity and natural beauty of the golf courses caught her attention and sparked 30+ years as an artist known for painting golf course landscapes. Marci has sold more than 35,000 reproductions (offset lithos) of her golf art across the nation and the original work is in private collections across the United States. Marci also spent a decade in Minneapolis, Minnesota where she painted numerous portraits of sports heroes in the NFL, NBA, NHL, and MLB.
