This series was made for the 4th years anniversary of a huge wildfire we had in the valley I live. I made 20 small prints portraying different burned trees from the same area, the prints are woodblock and were printed using ink bade from the soot of the burned trees' bark.
Each print is in an edition of 25, a small edition of 5 piece was made by trimming and mounting all the prints on a large sheet of the same handmade washi paper used for printing.
