Inspired by the regenerative cycles of growth and decomposition, I create abstract works on paper in collaboration with plants and fungi.
Message
Depicts Orchard Oriole/Icterus spurius, slim nectar and pollen drinking birds. Also, spring onion grass/Alllium vineale, ferns, and the seed heads from a bygone season.
This piece was made over the course of two residencies: I started it at OSGF during the chilly March of 2023 and finished it at the Chautuaqua Institute in September of 2024.
