Effect depicts Black Cohosh (Actaea racemosa) and Bindweed (Convolvulus), whose seeds remain viable in the soil for 50 years, is an adaptable plant able to twine around the stems of other plants, using them for support. Considered “noxious” in 35 states, Bindweed overwhelms indigenous plants more moderate growth. Also depicted are Dragonflies (Anisoptera), whose compound eyes are made up of thirty thousand tiny photoreceptors; their nymph stage lasts five years adn can molt up to 15 times.
