Belger Arts in MO commissioned these baskets. They are shallow, woven from natural fiber, bound with linen thread, and anchored by a stone. The weight seems to pull the surface inward, making gravity a collaborator. These objects sit between use and display, holding pressure, space, and the record of their making.
