I bought a series of boxes that were identical. They were square or triangular, natural wood, little brass hinges and closures. I intended them as reliquaries of a sort—an homage to disappearance and reappearance.

I ordered mirrors cut for them, and used pre-printed, die-cut pages inside of them. Some of the boxes show more refraction than others, some show more reflection.
