The gorgeous Gypsy mare and colt are inspired by an amazing photo from Helen Jane Peppe in the Facebook group Every Artists Reference Library. I just love the way the mare takes care of her foal.

Medium: This original painted on canvas with watercolor ground, using Brusho® Crystal Colours in shades of yellow ochre and burnt sienna. This piece is finished with several coats of Dorlands Wax Medium. Ready to hang! No glass necessary!
