POW! This horse looks like he's bursting out of the fire and coming right at you! Painted with vibrant oranges, blues and greys, with a pop of pink and purple. Special thanks to Helen Jane Peppe of Free Reference Photos for Artists (with permission) for her beautiful reference photo, and to April Bell of The 406! for the naming suggestion! This piece is painted on 300# Arches watercolor paper, mounted to a cradled wood panel, and sealed with Dorland's cold wax to protect it. No glass necessary. Framed in a sleek black floating frame.

This piece won 2nd Place at Montana Fair for Master/Contemporary Surrealism 2024.
